Read about how A’Miya’s mom shares about her daughter’s CHD experience:
“My Heart Warrior’s name is A’miya Elise Wright. She was born on March 6, 2021 in Greenville, SC at Prisma Health Hospital. A’miya was diagnosed with Trisomy 18, Congenital Heart Disease (4), Chronic Lung Disorder, Larnyglymalacia, and Severe Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
Every day has been a fighting chance and each day my girl has been defying every odd that was ever stacked against her. Having A’miya has truly shown our family and friends what it truly means to fight with strength. I have been the voice in the physical sense for A’miya and have advocated every NO or negative that just didn’t sit right with me. God has already written her story, we’re just helping bring it to the forefront. Our God is bigger than anything so we will ALWAYS fight!
The ERHF® has been such a blessing to our family. It takes such strong, kind, and God-fearing individuals to want to take the time out of their day to want to help others no matter their situation. It fills my heart with so much appreciation and gratitude to have their helping hand and I truly thank God
everyone at the ERHF®.
No matter the situation or circumstance, I inspire everyone to fight. Every baby deserves a fighting
chance. Fight with strength, fight with love, fight with compassion, fight because you want your baby to live no matter how long man says they have, no matter what the prognosis is, no matter how slim the chances are, if you want to fight, then fight! Be the voice for your little person and allow our big God to be the voice for you. Everything happens according to his plan. If it’s meant to be then it shall be. God has done exactly what he told me he would do and that’s kept Amiya living & thriving.”
