Read this encouraging story from a mother about her Heart Warrior Jayden:
Everything started for us when I found out by my fourth month of pregnancy that my son’s heart was different than other babies, and from the beginning, it was a real challenge. Unfortunately, I was in an abusive relationship so I had to leave Jayden’s father while I was pregnant with him, but I was able to move in with my grandma and start working by myself. Jayden was born on St. Patrick’s Day via C-section because of his heart condition. After he was born, we spent 7 months in the hospital. This season was really hard for me because I wasn’t able to work, and I didn’t have anyone visiting us. Everything that I go through with Jayden is a lot to deal with, but I am happy every day because it helps me remember how precious life is. My son is my motivation for everything I go through in life. Jayden has had over 40 procedures and one open heart surgery, and he still has one on the way. Things get really hard but I do it all for him because he is my world and I love him so much for who he is.
