Heart Story
Brittany tells the story of her Heart Warrior, Madalynn!
“Madalynn was born at 35 weeks old. She was diagnosed with Trisomy 21, ASD ,VSD, and COA. She underwent open heart surgery at only a week old and stayed at MUSC in Charleston for 41 days. Today our girl is growing and getting so big and we are so grateful for her!
The Emerson Rose Heart Foundation helped us in a time of need with bills we could not afford. They did this for us so that we could stay by our sweet girl the whole time she was in the hospital.
I want to encourage other heart families to never give up. Be hopeful that good days are coming! I know it can be hard right in the difficult moments, maybe even now, but God has your family and He can make miracles happen. God was gracious to save my baby girl, I know she is His child and He will continue to take care of her!”
