As we approach the end of the year, we ask that you consider Emerson Rose Heart Foundation in your end-of-year donations. ERHF is not funded by government grants; therefore, our funding comes from generous donors who make what we do possible. If it weren’t for donors, we wouldn’t be able to serve families and love them as Christ loves us.
Because of the donations we received from our donors in 2021, we have been able to assist just over 250 children, fund a $25,000 grant to APTUS Bioreactors, and raise over $70,000 at our 11th Annual Golf Tournament. This is an incredible feat for a foundation of our size, and we thank you all for assisting us in raising awareness of the most common birth defect in the world in such an astonishing way.
Looking into the new year, ERHF plans to increase our care team support by providing meals and programs for the nursing staff as they continue to labor during the pandemic. 2022 will also kick off our second decade of existence, and if the Lord wills we hope to continue with our mission of serving heart families. To do this, we intend to host an educational summit on current CHD research, so families can stay informed as we continue to improve upon and increase our family support throughout the Carolinas.
With so much support from generous donors, we can only imagine what we are capable of and are confident that with your help, we can surpass our goals for the new year. If you are interested in donating to ERHF, you can give online via our website or mail in a check to P.O. Box 935 Clemson, SC 29633 . If you feel as though you are not at a place to give financially, you can donate your time by requesting to volunteer.
