The heart is made up of 4 chambers that pump and allow blood to flow to and from the body. As a chamber giver, you allow our mission to flow throughout the year with your significant monthly support.
It is recommended to keep our heart rate below a peak rate of 150 bpm during exercise. As a peak giver, you provide us with the energy needed for the peak performance of our mission.
Getting our heart rate at 120 bpm or above for at least 20 minutes daily is recommended to stay healthy. As an active giver, you keep our mission active.
Depending on age, a healthy resting heart rate is around 72 bpm. As a pulse giver, you give life to our mission.
Each of the two lower heart chambers that supply blood to the body is called the ventricle and is commonly affected by heart defects. As a ventricle giver, you supply what we need for our mission.
Each of the two upper heart chambers that pump blood from the body is called the atrium and is commonly affected by heart defects. As an atrium giver, you pump life into our mission.
As a regular partner, you are the heartbeat of our mission to change the future of those affected by CHDs.
